Price:

All of our prices are expressed in American Dollars and they can be changed. To reconfirm your reservation you will have to pay 30% of the total value 60 days prior the initial date of the elected program. Such payment will be deducted from the total payment. This total payment should be paid 15 days before the initiation of the elected program. For those who make a reservation 15 days prior the initial date will have to pay the entire program.
NOTE: In the case of the programs :Conventional one day hikes and/or Rock Climbing Clinic, charges will be made 48hs prior to arrival, and Credit Card information will be required to book.

Payment Method:

The payment can be made with prior Bank deposit, Bank Transfer or Credit Card.


 
 
Reservation Conditions:

All mountain activities contain certain risk. All participants must sign and send a Risk Assumption prior departure of the chosen activity.
If for some particular reason, such as disease or similar, the client must pay the program plus any other charge or expense that this may generate.
Patagonia Hikes has already contemplated all insurance cover for the passengers and the development of their activities. Our insurance includes Civilian Responsibility and Personal Accident cover. However, Patagonia hikes recommend the passengers to hire Travel Assistance.
Once you agree with the following Terms and Conditions, choose the program, and Patagonia hikes will send you all of the equipment needed. It's necessary that you understand that this equipment is necessary and without any of them you won't be able to make the activity. Patagonia Hikes will provide of the needed equipment only if you let us know in advance so we can ensure its availability.
Both luggage and personal effects are the passenger's responsibility.

In this type of expeditions it's necessary that all participants follow the guides instructions and recommendations. The mountain Guides decision of modifications, such as cancelation of the program, if this could affect the safety of the group or any of the participants. This will not leave place to any complaints.
The results of each program are goals to achieve and do not imply any contract obligation to our company. Patagonia Hikes is not responsible of any delays or changes on the itinerary pre established caused by sickness, bad weather or any other circumstance clearly out of our control.


Cancelation and Refund Policies:

If a passenger decides to cancel his/her reservation the following policy will apply:

If the cancellation takes place 30 days prior the initiation of the activity, the passenger will get full refund.
If it's any other way Patagonia Hikes will not refund any of the payment made up to this date.
If Patagonia Hikes is forced to cancel any activity before departure, the passenger will get a full refund.

 
 
Risk Asumption:

In consideration of the services provided by Patagonia Hikes, and it΄s directors, guides and officers, for the program: ……………………………………………………………….;   I understand and accept this outdoor activity expose me to numerous known and unanticipated risks which could result in personal injury, illness, death or damage to myself or my property.  Some of the risks or factors creating risk include, but are not limited to, the following: extreme weather conditions that may vary significantly, low temperatures, high radiations, strong winds, snowfalls, rain, fog, falling rocks, avalanches of seracs and snow, difficulties in finding water, impossibility of getting food, and others. Moreover, the activity will be carried out in remote places that are located far from hospitals or emergency facilities, therefore aid may be delayed and great difficulties may be encountered in transporting the sick or injured person. My participation is voluntary; I choose to participate in spite of these named and other unnamed risks. I am solely responsible for deciding to engage in this activity.
I hereby affirm that: 1) I am duly acquainted with the activities to be carried out since they have been explained to me in detail. 2) I am in good physical and mental health to carry out said activities. 3) I am solely responsible for my own life insurance coverage and health care provider. 4) I accept and assume all risk involved in the above activity 5) Said activities being carried out in mountain terrain and/or in the outdoors, trip planning and schedules are subject to weather and terrain conditions. 6) The trip leaders, instructors and persons in charge of the activity will be the leaders of the trip and his/her instructions must be strictly followed. He/she has decision-making authority over whether to carry out, modify or cancel the trip at his/her discretion, taking into consideration personal or group safety, which prevails over all other matters, and that may not be questioned in any manner whatsoever.
My participation in the Patagonia Hikes program is voluntary, and I choose to participate, in spite of knowing the described inherent risks in this document. I assume and accept full responsibility over the consequences.
I fully understand that this acknowledgement and assumption of risks and this document, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Argentina. I have carefully read, understand and voluntarily sign this Document and acknowledge that it shall be effective and binding upon me.

Inclusions and Exclusions

What is included:
All activities include the services of a guide, insurance, technical equipment and meals; unless specified to the contrary.

Entrances to Private Property are included when it is necessary to pass through them or overnight there for a trek or an expedition

What is not included:
In no circumstances are the following included: transfers, taxes, snacks at stops during transfers, telephone calls, extra porters, tips, entrance to National Parks or Natural Reserves.

Anything that is not specified on the itinerary or programme is not included. This also means personal equipment (clothes, sleeping bag, rucksack, boots, etc. unless you hire it from us locally).

Photography during the tour
Patagonia Hikes reserves the right to take photographs, film or record any part of any trek or expedition in order to use for promotional or educational purposes. On registering, clients accept that their photograph and/or voice may be used as mentioned above. If clients prefer that their image and/or voice are not used, please inform us before the activity takes place.

Agreements
The stipulated prices include planning, organizational and operational costs based on current prices. In case of an extraordinary increase, the prices are subject to change.

Limits of Responsibility and Insurance
Patagonia Hikes is a completely authorised Tourist Operator. The services offered are operated by professional guides, tour leaders and trek assistants who are all qualified and have ample experience in the outdoors.

Patagonia Hikes declines all responsibility on delays, early arrivals or cancellations of airline or bus companies due to these not being services that we provide.

Patagonia Hikes will not be responsible for the personal belongings or luggage of the client. We recommend that the client takes out an insurance policy to cover him/herself for the aforementioned risk.

Patagonia Hikes recommends taking out a life, personal accident and travel insurance including complete medical cover.

Minimum group
If the groups don’t arrive at the minimum number for the trek to take place, the clients already registered will not have the right to more than 100% of the amount paid.

Risk Acceptance
Declaring Risk acceptance is part of Patagonia Hikes’s reservation method. Through this declaration, Patagonia Hikes is sure to have informed all clients about the risks of all mountain activities and the clients accept they are aware of them. Accepting the General Conditions:

The client declares to understand and agree to the general conditions of the contract and this acceptance is confirmed by one of the following ways:
1. The payment of the services contracted before the journey, using any method.
2. Through the use of any portion of the services contracted.

This policy covers how we use your personal information. We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information.
Any personal information received will only be used to fill your order. We will not sell or redistribute your information to anyone.
